In early 2009 he was accused of sexually abusing sedated patients.〔(Médico é investigado por supostos crimes sexuais. During his career as a physician, he operated a clinic in a prime area of the state capital and became nationally known for treating the wives of personalities such as Pelé, the former president Fernando Collor, comedian and the Senator Renan Calheiros.
